Why "Masker"?

In college, I was a member of a sorority that was known as Maskers. There were 11 of us girls, all juniors, and 11 seniors. I was the 1997-1998 Masker #7. It was a highlight of my college years and I have used it for computer user ids since then. In the 10 years that have followed, however, I am learning the value of taking off the fake "Mask" and being true and authentic with myself and others. THAT is the purpose of my blog.

EVIL Pampers Baby Cruisers

Yes, I said Pampers=EVIL!
We've recently used the Pampers' Baby dry brand and they were, ehh...so I thought I'd give Pampers another chance. OHhhhhh...these Cruisers are the Satan of absorbency! My poor baby's bum is covered in red spots because of the--technical explanation here-- "absorbent gel in the dry weave lining." Here's the account of some other mothers who have seen the evil of Pampers. http://www.mamasource.com/advice/pampers-cruisers/diaper-allergies

I bought 2 packages at CVS on Saturday but will promptly return the unopened one. Anybody need some size 4 Pampers--we only used 2 out of our 30 pack? Grrrr. Maybe I should try Ebay! (kidding!) Oh Huggies--I'm sorry from the BOTTOM of my heart (ha-I get it!) that I ever wandered from you!

In other news, my triple coupon Bloom trip was so not pleasant...the staff were sorta rude and the store itself was not clean or easy to walk through (lots of clutter in the middle of the isles--and this was at noon on Sunday). Boo on Bloom...I did NOT have a "come on get happy" moment in there but I had a lot of "come to Jesus" moments trying to control my frustrations!

I'm in a complaining mood, it would seem, and my Mom told me that if I can't say something nice I shouldn't say nothin' at all. SO, I shall follow Thumper's fine example (Bambi shout-out) and say, "good-night."
(Well, I'm really just out of material to blog...but ending this way makes me look like I actually have some measure of self-control!)

Hey!
Most stores will let you return opened and partially used products. This product obviously caused physical harm to your precious baby and should be brought to the attention of the store and manufacturer. I hope you are feeling better today!
With love,
Ash

Aww! I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your couponing. Next time Bloom has any triple coups and worthwhile deals, you should come down to our 24 hr. Bloom - it is clean and abundantly staffed with helpful people that answered a lot of my questions.

Incidentally, the Swede recently bought some Huggies when he was at his folks' place and we had forgotten to pack diapers with him. Since there's been no Pampers issues for us (and in fact we preferred them the first year for preventing 'poo-shooting-up-the-back' syndrome), I'll gladly swap you diaper-for-diaper with the Huggies!

Gee, I am super sad about your Pampers experience! We have loved Pampers for the last three years and two kiddos. Isn't it crazy how each diaper to kid experience is different. WILD! I hope that Cassie's bum is feeling much better!!!

I never liked the Pamper baby cruisers either because they leaked a lot. We liked the Pampers dry I think they were called Pampers dry with flex or something:) My girlfriend loves the CVS brand diapers and swears by them:) Never heard of Bloom?

You are so cute! Bummer with the coupons and the store, not cool! LOL at AO's poopy up the back sydrome, we have to agree, Pampers worked for the little guy, although now he is waking up soaked! Hmmm, we'll have to look into that! :) Hope you're doing great!
